Jeanette, what an excellent book. A very emotional book that I believe will help people around the world in dealing with or coping with the events leading up to loss and the loss itself of a loved one. Wish you much success with this and maybe soon it will be on the best seller list.
A beautifully written narrative of the suffering, grief, anger, hurt, and pain that one experiences when loved ones die. This book would be helpful for caregivers, for those coping with grief, and for those who are attempting to find new meaning and purpose after great loss. I will recommend it to colleagues and others in the caring profession. Thank you Ms. Reese for you bravery and honesty.

What an amazing story. I couldn't put it down. Jeanette Reeves is an awesome women. She is one of the strongest person I know. She helped me the grieving process of losing my daughter. Reading this book got me though another level of the grieving. Thank you Jeanette for being therefor me and others.

Somehow, knowing one is not alone in experiencing grief does help. Others have lost loved ones and survived that experience. So can we. Jeanette Reese shares her challenges through the illnesses and deaths of two husbands and her mother. She also offers concrete advice that the reader can use to find hope and embrace purpose. I recommend this book highly to all readers. We all eventually face the loss of someone we love.
Jeanette Reese tells a beautiful story of love in its many forms. I also like the fact that she does not minimize some of the normal difficulties she and her husband had. It made her stories all the more real and meaningful to me that she did not just idolize the loved ones she had lost, but represented them realistically.
The author comes across as a wonderfully compassionate person whom we would all want to have in our lives. The last chapter with information to help readers who have suffered losses was also very helpful! Thank you, Jeanette Reese!
