The Outsider short story Atomic Wasteland Tales eBook Jason G Anderson
The world Mr. Anderson has created in this short story is very vivid, especially considering the confined storytelling required by the short format. One gets the sense that he fully understands this world and has made sure that all aspects of it that are seen in The Outsider will agree with his other Atomic Wasteland Tales. Anderson also does a good job of keeping the reader wondering if the ending will play out the way one expects. I'll definitely be reading more of his work and I also look forward to reading more stories set in this post-apocalyptic setting. 4 stars.Product details

The Outsider short story Atomic Wasteland Tales eBook Jason G Anderson Reviews
I don't usually read short stories, but I was between books, so gave this one a try. It's not amazing, but it's a solid post-apocalyptic tale, and the length was perfect for finishing during my lunch break. Definitely worth a dollar, and good enough that I'd probably pay for any future stories set in the same universe.
Author Jason G. Anderson has, in his short story "The Outsider," crafted an absorbing tale of suspense and intrigue set in the godforsaken expanse of a post-apocalyptic wasteland. His tale involves a guarded outpost of a town, Raventon, and their decision to let in an outsider in need of nourishment and medical attention.
This was a quick read at 20 pages, but the entire time, I was asking myself if this congenial "outsider" could be trusted. In a short amount of space, the author managed to pack in quite a few unforeseen twists. The story ends with a satisfying conclusion and a moral about trust in a world where no one can be trusted.
Fans of PA fiction, this short story is definitely worth your time!
